DENTAL
IMPLANTS
Modern
state of the art dental implants are made of titanium.
Titanium is a metal that the body doesn't
reject when implanted into bone. When titanium is used for
dental implants it is integrated with the jaw bone and left
long enough so that the top portion of the implant can be used
to fasten porcelain teeth and or dentures. The fastening
process is done with screws and other metal fixtures.

Applications
Of Dental
Implants
Implants
can be used to replace one tooth, many teeth or to secure
dentures. When implants
are used for a single tooth, it only involves that specific
tooth and does not depend on reconstruction of any adjacent
teeth. The old fashion bridge can virtually be
eliminated with the titanium implant process.
